Monthly Hostess Club!

I know it's been a few weeks since I've posted anything, and I hope to be posting some new artwork soon, but I have a great opportunity to tell you about today.

I'm going to be starting a monthly hostess club, and I'm inviting you to join. You will receive free product, free idea books, and extra goodies - without hosting a party!

Here's how the club works:

  • Six people commit to spending $25/month for six months.
  • During one of those months, you receive hostess benefits, which would be at least $25 in free product!

As a member of the club, you would also receive
  • free idea books in advance of other customers
  • a free mini stamp set when you join
  • a free stamp of the month set during your hostess month
  • advance notice of monthly specials from Close To My Heart

Other Information
  • You can also commit to two spots if you want to spend $50/month and two months of hostess benefits!
  • You can get outside orders from family and friends during your month, which will increase sales for the month and earn you more free product.
  • If the six spots fill up and more people are interested, I will start another club.
  • You do not have to be local to join. You can place your order on my website and have it shipped directly to you each month. Your free product will also be shipped directly to you during your hostess month!

I am hoping to start my first club in May, and I already have four spots filled up! You can email, call, or text me to sign up!

Thanks,
Bethany Rielage

Birthday Card - Card Buffet

I'm back again with another card from my April card buffet! I am offering four sessions of my buffet this month, but I am limiting each session to only six people - so sign up soon!
  • Saturday, April 9; 1:00-3:00
  • Saturday, April 9; 6:00-8:00
  • Thursday, April 14; 7:00-9:00
  • Sunday, April 17; 1:00-3:00
Here's the card for today:

This card features the stamp set from the Kaleidoscope Cardmaking Kit.

One thing I love about this stamp set is its versatility. Although this card kit is pretty feminine, the stamp set works for both guys and girls. I have made several masculine cards with this stamp set, and I think I'll be using it for a long time!

The paper comes from a retired paper packet called ProPlayer, but this card design and stamp set could be used with many different papers. I used Ruby, Pacifica, Slate, and Canary inks and added some Enamel & Glitter Duos Blue Dots to finish off the card.

I hope you'll join me in April for one of my card buffet sessions. All the details can be found here or on my Upcoming Events page.

Please text, call, or email me to sign up or if you need more information.

Thanks,

Your Beautiful Self - Card Buffet

Today I'm sharing another card that will be available to make during my April card buffet.

This card features the stamp set Your Beautiful Self from the Seasonal Expressions 1 idea book.

I love this stamp set, and it's perfect for coloring, which is what I did on this card. I stamped the images with the Memento Black ink and used our ShinHan Touch Twin markers to color them in.

The stamp of the month sets are available for the retail price of $17.95, but you can also get them for only $5.00 with a qualifying purchase. I used the frame stamp, and I'm looking forward to using this image a lot!

The paper comes from a retired paper packet called Flirty, but this card design and stamp set could be used with many different papers. I added some Bitty Sparkles to finish off the card, and I popped up the butterfly wings with some Thin Foam Tape.

I hope you'll join me in April for one of my card buffet sessions. There are four scheduled sessions, but I can only accommodate six people at each session. All the details can be found here or on my Upcoming Events page.

Please text, call, or email me to sign up or if you need more information.

Springtime Wishes - Card Buffet

I promised you two cards today, and here's the second one!

For this card, I used one of the patterns from the Charlotte scrapbooking workshop guide, and I just replaced the paper with some retired For Always paper. You can download the guide directly from my website here (just click the link under the "Add to Cart" button).

This card features the Springtime Wishes stamp set - a set I'm sure I'll be using for many years!

Unfortunately, the Thin Cuts that coordinate with this stamp set have sold out, but the stamp set is still available for purchase. For this card, I stamped the images with Black Memento ink, and then I used our Watercolor Paints to color them in. I used some Black & Gold Ribbon and some Treasured Puffies to finish off the card.

Thanks for stopping by, and I hope to see you in April at one of my card buffet sessions. All the information about the buffet can be found in this post or on my Upcoming Events page.

Thanks,

Crazy Good - Card Buffet

I didn't get around to sharing a card yesterday, so I'll try and get two posts done today!

The first card I'm sharing today is a great masculine card. I often find myself in short supply of cards for guys, so I really tried to include a few in my card buffet.

This card features a stamp set I really love - Crazy Good.

It's just a really fun stamp set, and I love that it coordinates with our Artiste Cricut cartridge.

I used Pacifica ink for the sentiment, Ruby for the stripe, and Whisper for the bottom triangles - all designs from the same stamp set. I used some retired paper from the ProPlayer paper packet, and the retired blue and green sparkles could easily be replaced with some sequins or our Blue Enamel Dots.

I hope you enjoyed learning about this card!

Stuck on You - Card Buffet

For the next several days, I'm going to be sharing individual cards that will be available to make during my April card buffet. This will let you see more detailed pictures of the cards and learn about the supplies and stamps used to create them.

The first card I'm sharing features the stamp set Stuck on You from the Seasonal Expressions 1 idea book.

I think this stamp set is just adorable, and the sentiments are great too.

Another thing I love about this stamp set is that there is a coordinating set of Thin Cuts to go with it. That way I don't have to cut out all those intricate images myself!

The thin cuts are so fun and easy to use - even my children love to use them!

So here's the card:

In addition to the Stuck on You stamp set, this card also uses the Green Triangle Enamel & Glitter Duos and the Green Shimmer Trim. The paper comes from a retired paper packet called Flirty, but this card design and stamp set could be used with many different papers.

I colored the images in with our ShinHan Touch Twin markers. They are so nice and smooth; I just love coloring with them!

I hope you'll join me in April for one of my card buffet sessions. There are four scheduled sessions, but I can only accommodate six people at each session. All the details can be found here or on my Upcoming Events page.

Please text, call, or email me to sign up or if you need more information.

April Card Buffet!

I'm having my first card buffet in April, and I'm pretty excited! I've prepared several different card kits, and I'm looking forward to lots of fun with you this month.

Here's how it will work: You come and make as many cards as you want in the two-hour class time. Each card is $2 and they are all designed and pre-cut for you; all you do is put them together! There are several cards from which to choose.

All you have to do is bring adhesive, and I provide the rest! I suggest bringing a regular paper adhesive, glue dots, and some kind of foam tape.

I am offering four sessions of my card buffet in April, but each session is limited to six people. Call or email me to sign up (rielage517@gmail.com; 765-635-4884), and you're welcome to reserve a spot for a friend as well. All classes will be held at my home, and if you need my address and/or directions, I will email you them once you sign up.
  • Saturday, April 9; 1:00-3:00
  • Saturday, April 9; 6:00-8:00
  • Thursday, April 14; 7:00-9:00
  • Sunday, April 17; 1:00-3:00
Please sign up at least two days before the session you wish to attend. But the later you wait to sign up, the more likely they will be full!

--------------------

Here are some questions and answers you may have about my card buffet:

What do I need to bring to the buffet? All you need to bring is adhesive. I suggest bringing a regular paper adhesive, glue dots, and some kind of foam tape.

How many cards can I make? You can make as many cards as you can within the two-hour class time. All I ask is that you finish each card completely before starting on another one.

How much does it cost? You pay by the card, and it's $2.00 per card, which include envelopes. There are a few ways to get some cards for free. For each friend you register and bring with you (who has never been to one of my workshops or classes), you will get a free card. If you decide to place an order at the class, you will get a free card for every $25 you spend (before tax and shipping). Combine bringing friends and placing an order, and you could get all your cards for FREE!

How much time will it take to make each card? That mostly depends on how and how quickly you work. Some cards are more detailed, while others are pretty simple.

If you have any other questions for me, please don't hesitate to ask. I will be showing more details of each card on my blog over the next several weeks, so be sure to check back!

Thanks, and I hope to see you in April!
