Close To My Heart has four cardmaking kits in the Seasonal Expressions 2 Idea Book, and I'll be featuring one of them each month from May through August. The kit we'll be working with in August is the So Many Candles Cardmaking Kit!

This kit contains materials for creating 12 cards - six each of two designs. Easy-to-follow instructions guide you in creating two different card designs, but you also have the freedom to make your cards your way!

The cost of the workshop is $30, which covers the workshop kit, shipping and tax, the use of my supplies, and my instruction. Your papers will also be pre-cut and ready for you to assemble! All you need to bring is adhesive.

July Scrapbooking Workshops

Close To My Heart has four main paper collections in the current seasonal idea book, and I'll be featuring one of them each month from May through August in my monthly scrapbooking workshops. In July we'll be working with the Into the Wild paper collection!

Each paper collection has multiple scrapbooking kits, and you get to choose which one you would like to complete! Close To My Heart has chosen embellishments for the kits to give you two different themes for the paper collection. There is a Workshops Your Way kit or two Deluxe kits, and all the Into the Wild kits make three two-page layouts.

If you choose the Workshops Your Way Into the Wild Scrapbooking Kit, here are the three layouts you will make. These layouts are geared more toward little boys, but you could switch out some of the embellishments to make them more neutral.

If you choose one of the Into the Wild Deluxe Scrapbooking Workshop Kits, these are the layouts you will make. These layouts focus more on the outdoors and are pretty gender-neutral.

The cost of the workshop covers the kit, shipping and tax, and my time pre-cutting your papers. The kits are different prices and include different materials. Freshly Made Sketches 384

Today I have a card for you based on a sketch from the Freshly Made Sketches blog!

Here's the sketch for this week.

And here's my card.

The stamped images come from the April stamp of the month set, Love So Sweet. This stamp set is so pretty and has several great sentiments in beautiful fonts. And the best part about this stamp set is that you can get it for only $5 this month with a qualifying order!

The patterned paper for my card comes from the Feels Like Home paper packet, and I also used some Fern cardstock. I stamped the sentiment in Fern ink and the butterfly in Charcoal, and then I added some silver sequins to finish it off!
