August Scrapbooking Workshop

Saturday, August 26
9:30-11:30
$35

For my August scrapbooking workshop, we will be using the Workshops Your Way Jack Scrapbooking Kit.

This workshop kit retails for $26.95 and provides you with enough materials to create three 12x12 two-page layouts. It also provides you with the paper and embellishments to make six cards! Plus, you'll have leftover scraps!

Here's what you receive with this kit:

1 Jack Paper Packet
1 pack of Jack Complements
1 pack of Black & White Dots
1 roll of Whisper Thick Twine
4 sheets of cardstock (1 Juniper, 2 Whisper, 1 White Daisy)

Here are the three layouts you will make with this kit:

I changed up my layouts a little bit using the brand-new You Are Here Cricut cartridge. To see my completed layouts, keep an eye out for my blog post next week!

Cost:
The cost of the workshop is $35. This covers the cost of the kit, shipping, tax, printed directions, and my instruction. If you have already ordered the kit on your own but would still like to come to the workshop, please bring $3.00 to cover my instructional time.

Sign-up Deadline:
The deadline to sign up for this workshop is Wednesday, August 16. The deadline allows me to order the kits in time.

Optional Additional Services:
$5 - I will provide any adhesive you need, including foam tape.
$5 - I will cut all of your paper ahead of time so you can just assemble and decorate the layouts the day of the workshop.

What do you need to bring?
Please bring adhesive (I suggest a regular paper adhesive, glue dots, and foam tape) and basic tools (a paper cutter and scissors).

August Cardmaking Workshop

Close To My Heart has four wonderful cardmaking workshops in the Seasonal Expressions 2 idea book, and I'm having a workshop for one of them each month from May through August. The kit we'll be working with in August is the Anniversary Cardmaking Kit!

Saturday, August 19
9:30-11:30
$35

The cost of the workshop covers all of your materials (including adhesive), the use of my supplies, and my instruction. Your papers will also be pre-cut and ready for you to assemble! All you have to do is show up!

At the workshop you will receive the Anniversary Cardmaking Kit, which provides you with the materials to create 12 cards. Easy-to-follow instructions guide you in creating two different card designs, but thanks to the interchangeable designs and stamp sentiments, you can make your cards your way!

Here are the 12 different cards I made with this kit:

Kit Contents:

1 exclusive workshop stamp set (B-size)
1 sheet of No Worries patterned paper
1 roll of Aqua Shimmer Trim
1 pack of No Worries Sequins
2 sheets of cardstock (1 Sea Glass, 1 Smoothie)
12 card bases and envelopes

Because your kit includes a stamp set for you to keep and plenty of leftover supplies, you can continue to make cards after the workshop is over! The kit comes with everything you need, except for inks and blocks, which I will provide during the workshop.

Optional Additional Supplies

If you would like to purchase your own set of inks in order to make more cards at home, you can add one or more of the ink pads to your order. The inks we will use in the workshop are Black and Smoothie. Each individual ink pad is $7.95.
You can also add a pack of 50 card bases and envelopes to your order for $14.95.

I will cover your shipping and tax for these additional items - but you must add them when you RSVP!

Sign-Up Deadline
The deadline to sign up for this workshop is Wednesday, August 9th. This allows me to order the kits in time for the workshop.

You can RSVP on the Facebook event page, or you can email, call, or text me to sign up. Space is limited, so sign up soon!

Thanks,

Bethany Rielage
