June Stamp of the Month

Foxes must still be popular because the June stamp of the month set - Hello Foxy - is all about them!

This stamp set has cute images, beautiful flowers, and versatile sentiments. Most of the time when I'm considering a stamp of the month set, I look at the sentiments and see if I'll use them. If I will, the images are a bonus! When you can get the set for only $5, it doesn't take much to make it worth it!

I have seen some great artwork online from other consultants using this stamp set. If you're interested in seeing some of this artwork, search the hashtags #ctmhhellofoxy, #ctmhsotm, #stampofthemonth, or #ctmhstampofthemonth on social media. Those should get you some good ideas!

Here are a few projects I've made using the Hello Foxy stamp set.

Remember, the stamp of the month is only available for one month! You can buy it at the full retail price of $17.95, or it's only $5 with a $50 order. Click on the link below to learn more and to get your own Hello Foxy stamp set:

Mojo Monday 121 - Hi

I'm back today with another older Mojo Monday sketch. I really like this sketch, and I think it could be used with all sorts of different stamp sets. Maybe if I get a chance, I'll try and make another card using this same sketch later this week. Or maybe you can try it for yourself and post your card in the comments. I'd love to see them!

Here's the sketch I've chosen for this week:

And here's my card:

For this week's card I chose to use papers from the No Worries paper packet, and I used the June stamp of the month, Hello Foxy. The woodgrain paper I used as the background is actually one of the 4x6 cut-apart cards that comes in the paper packet. I used a couple other scraps that I had and cut a circle from White Daisy cardstock using our Basic Circles Thin Cuts.

I stamped the image and the sentiment in Lagoon ink and inked the edges of all the papers with Whisper ink. I mounted the White Daisy circle with thin foam tape and then added some White Burlap Ribbon and No Worries Sequins to finish off the card.

Thanks for stopping by today, and I hope you'll make some time to do some crafting this week!

Thanks,

Mojo Monday 365 - Thankful for You

Since last week was the last new sketch from Mojo Monday, I've decided to continue making cards each week using older sketches. I don't have a particular order; I'm just choosing sketches that I like for now!

The sketch I've chosen for this week is Mojo Monday 365:

This particular sketch was one of their Tall & Skinny sketches, but as always, I've chosen to keep my card at my regular size. I always make cards in the A2 size, which is 4.25 x 5.5 inches.

For my card this week, I chose to use the No Worries paper packet and the June Stamp of the Month, Hello Foxy. I think the little foxes are adorable, and the sentiments are versatile and can be used with or without the images.

Like most of the cards I make, I used scraps that I had left over from my No Worries scrapbooking layouts. I stamped the sentiment in Sapphire ink and the flower in Lagoon ink. I added some White Burlap Ribbon and mounted the paper pieces at the top with thin foam tape.

I hope you'll take some time this week to try and make a card of your own with this sketch. And remember, the Hello Foxy stamp set is only available during June, and you can purchase it for only $5 with a qualifying order! Contact me with any questions!

June Card Buffet

I love to design and make cards, and I've enjoyed making and choosing cards for my card buffets the past several months. Card buffets are fun events for both beginner card makers and more experienced crafters! You can learn new techniques and have fun working with lots of different papers and products.

Here's how it works: You come and make as many cards as you want in the two-hour workshop time. Each card is $2 and they are all designed and pre-cut for you. All you have to do is bring adhesive, and I provide the rest! I suggest bringing a regular paper adhesive, glue dots, and some kind of foam tape. I can also provide adhesive for an additional $3.00.

Here's a picture of all the cards I'm offering this month.

And here are pictures of the individual cards.

Three of the cards this month feature the No Worries paper packet and the No Worries Cardmaking stamp set.

I really hope you'll join me this month for one of my card buffets! You can RSVP on my Facebook page, or you can contact me to sign up.

Thanks,
Bethany Rielage

Unfinished Layouts

One of my goals for this summer is to get through my pile of unfinished layouts! Most of these are layouts that I created as part of a workshop, but I never got around to putting pictures on them. I probably have 20-30 two-page layouts sitting on my shelf waiting for pictures, so I pulled them all down last week and now they're sitting on my table. Maybe that'll help motivate me to print some pictures!

So far I have completed three two-page layouts. I'm pretty excited about that, especially considering two of these layouts were first made in November of 2015! Yikes! I'm going to share them with you today, and hopefully I'll have more to share later!

Layout #1

This layout was part of a Fundamentals album bundle offered in November of 2015, and the pictures I decided to use are from May 2016. But I think they work just fine! Most of the products on these pages are now retired, but as I've mentioned before, you can always substitute different papers and embellishments and create new, fresh layouts!

Layout #2

This layout comes from the Florence scrapbooking workshop from last summer. I added a few retired embellishments that aren't from the Florence collection, and I like how it turned out!

Layout #3

This layout came from the same Fundamentals album bundle as the first layout I shared, and these pictures are from back in 2012. Although the Fundamentals embellishments are retired, I did use a current stamp set for the journaling block.

The Capture This stamp set has journaling lines in three different widths, and it has the months of the year and numbers. It's very versatile and great for scrapbooking. It's also retiring soon, so be sure to get your own!

Thanks for stopping by today, and I hope to be back later in the summer with more completed layouts to share with you. If you have any questions about what I shared today, please contact me!

Mojo Monday 500 - Awesome

This week's Mojo Monday blog post was quite sad for me because it's going to be their final sketch! I completely understand the reasons behind this decision, but I will still miss working with their sketch every week. I wish Julee all the best though!

Here's the 500th and final Mojo Monday sketch:

And here's my card for this week:

For my card this week, I used papers from the No Worries paper packet, which is the featured paper packet from Close To My Heart for the month of June. I used several different scraps, so the card went together fairly quickly.

The sentiment I chose comes from the Father's Day cardmaking kit. This stamp set is only available if you purchase the kit, and I find that these cardmaking stamp sets become some of my favorite stamps to use over and over again. I stamped the sentiment in Glacier ink on White Daisy cardstock, and then I edged it with Cashmere ink. I adhered it to the card with thin foam tape, and then I added a few No Worries Sequins to finish it off.

I haven't decided exactly what I'm going to do now that Mojo Monday will no longer be putting up new sketches, but I think I may just go back a few years and use some of their earlier sketches. It's so nice that they have them all available to download!

Thanks so much for stopping by, and I hope you'll head over to the Mojo Monday blog and leave them some love!
