December Scrapbooking Workshop - White Pines

For my December scrapbooking workshop, we will be using the White Pines Scrapbooking Kit.

This workshop kit retails for $29.95 and includes over $40 worth of product! With this kit you receive a full White Pines paper packet, an exclusive D-size stamp set, the White Pines Assortment, Red Enamel Gems, four extra sheets of cardstock, and an instructional brochure.

Here are some pictures of the layouts we will be creating:

The workshop costs $35, which covers the cost of the kit, shipping, tax, and the use of my Cricut machine and stamp pads. There's also the option of creating a third two-page layout for $2 (to cover the cost of additional base pages).

Optional Additional Services:
$5 - I will provide any adhesive you need, including foam tape.
$5 - I will cut all of your paper ahead of time so you can just assemble and decorate the layouts the day of the workshop.

December Card Workshop - Kaleidoscope

Need some birthday cards for the new year? Close To My Heart has you covered with a wonderful cardmaking kit featuring the beautiful Kaleidoscope paper packet.

The Kaleidoscope Cardmaking Kit provides you with all the paper and embellishments you need to make 15 beautiful birthday cards, including a D-size stamp set, two full packs of embellishments, 15 card bases and envelopes, and an instruction brochure.

Here are the three cards you can make using this kit (3 of each card):

I will provide all the stamp pads, blocks, and tools you need to complete your cards, and I will have all of your paper cut ahead of time! All you need to bring is adhesive (including foam tape) and your scissors.

Option 2: $23 - I will put together a kit for you containing all the materials you need to make your cards, but you will not receive a stamp set to take home or any full packs of embellishments.

The Everyday Life Planner Is Here!

The new Everyday Life planner from Close To My Heart is finally here and available to order! I think these products will be great for both planning and memory keeping - and they're beautiful too!

The Everyday Life line can be a planner or a scrapbook - or both! At first I wasn't sure about including memory keeping with my planner, so I've decided to use all the materials as my 2016 chronological scrapbook. I do most of my event planning and calendar on my phone, so I don't really need a planner for that. All I do on paper is my daily to-dos, and I already have a system for that as well. So when Close To My Heart announced this line, I wasn't sure what to do with it. But as I thought through my memory keeping and how I like to scrapbook, I realized that turning this into a scrapbook of our year and what our days looked like will work for me. I don't tend to scrapbook chronologically on my 12x12 layouts, so I'm looking forward to taking care of that aspect of memory keeping in this album. I'll be sure to keep you posted on how I'm doing in 2016!

November's Scrapbooking Workshop - Urban!

I know there are still a few days left in October, but I wanted to go ahead and share with you information about my November scrapbooking workshop featuring the Urban paper packet

I love these textured-looking papers, and I think there are many possibilities for this paper packet. These would be great for layouts about the outdoors or camping, but they're also perfect for all the men in your life! They would make great masculine cards or layouts.

When I started working with the Urban paper packet, I initially thought that I would create layouts about my son, but it turn out the way I expected. The three two-page layouts I created ended up being all about my husband! So even if you don't have any boys, there are probably still some men in your life that these could work for.

Sangria Scraps Card

This is the last week of October, which means this is the last week that I'll be focusing my attention on the Sangria paper packet. This isn't the last month that you can purchase it, but I - along with Close To My Heart - will be switching my focus to the Urban paper packet next month.

Today I want to share a card that I made from some scraps that I had leftover from the Sangria Workshops on the Go scrapbooking kit. I love taking my leftover pieces, adding some white card bases, and creating beautiful cards!

The sentiment on the card comes from the stamp set that is exclusive to the Sangria Workshops on the Go scrapbooking kit. I arranged the scraps and added a few pieces of Gold Shimmer Trim and it was done!

More Sangria Cards!

I'm back today with more cards created with the beautiful Sangria paper packet.

The inspiration for these cards actually came from the White Pines Workshops on the Go cardmaking kit! I love that the card ideas in these kits can be used many times over and with lots of different paper and stamp sets. Here are the three cards that you make with the cardmaking kit; the card I chose to duplicate is the one on the right.

Here's my take on that card using the Sangria paper:

I used the stamp set from the Sangria Workshops on the Go scrapbooking kit for the flowered background, and the sentiment comes from the Just To Say stamp set, which comes as part of the Artfully Sent Cricut collection.

While I was at it, I decided to go ahead and make another version of this same card with a different sentiment:

This Hello sentiment also comes from the same Just To Say stamp set.
