Boutique Scrapbooking Workshop

It's now September, and the new Holiday Expressions idea book is live! And with the release of a new catalog comes new product - including five new paper packets! In September I will be focusing on the Boutique collection, and I have a new scrapbooking workshop all ready for you!



In the past I have offered monthly scrapbooking workshops at my house, but for the next few months I'm trying something different. Instead of signing up for a workshop, you can now purchase a kit and come to any of my open craft times to complete your layouts. If you prefer to purchase your own materials or if you want to make the layouts on your own, you can buy the supplies online, and I can send you the instructions and cutting guide.

You will also receive Customer Loyalty Points no matter which option you choose! If you order the materials yourself, you will earn points for your order ($1 = 1 point). If you purchase a pre-cut kit from me, you will receive 30 points. It's a win-win!

Important information! August is the last month for both of the current idea books, so I do expect products to start selling out soon. If you are planning on purchasing your own materials, I would advise you to do so soon to avoid missing out. Similarly, if you would like a pre-cut kit, please purchase it soon so I can order your materials. At the moment I do not keep stock on hand, so I can only order materials for as long as they're available.

Central Park Scrapbooking Workshop

  • Saturday, July 28
  • 1:00-4:00

This workshop features the Central Park collection from Close To My Heart. You will create four two-page layouts, and you will have leftover paper and embellishments to take home.

Cost
The cost of the workshop is $50, which covers all of your supplies (except adhesive), full-color printed directions, the use of my tools, and my personal instruction. All of your papers will be pre-cut for you, and you can keep any leftover materials. I can also provide adhesive for you for an additional $5.

Sign-up Deadline
The sign-up deadline is Wednesday, July 18. This will allow me to purchase materials in time for the workshop.

What do you need to bring?
Please bring adhesive (I suggest a regular paper adhesive, glue dots, and foam tape) and basic tools (a paper cutter and scissors).

How do you pay?
If you would like to pay with a credit card, you can send payment through PayPal to rielage517@gmail.com. Otherwise, you can pay with cash or check either before or at the event. When you RSVP, please let me know how you would like to pay for the workshop.

April Stamp of the Month

Today I'm sharing all about the April stamp of the month set - Color Your Life. This is a really fun set for both cards and scrapbooking.


All of the sentiments can be used separately, or they can all be used together for one, long scrapbooking title. I think these letters will be so fun to color in, and I look forward to using this stamp set more in the future.


As in other months, I have seen some great artwork online using this stamp set. If you're interested in seeing some of this artwork, search the hashtags #ctmhcoloryourlife, #ctmhsotm, #stampofthemonth, or #ctmhstampofthemonth on social media. Those should get you some good ideas!

Postcard Perfect Layouts

Today I want to share several layouts I've made with the brand-new, exclusive, coming-in-May Postcard Perfect collection from Close To My Heart!


This new collection will be available to order in May in honor of National Scrapbooking Month, and it will only be available for one month! If you want to find out more about all the product offerings, check out my blog post from last week.

Today I'm sharing three layouts I made with the paper packet, the coordinating cardstock, and the Postcard Perfect stamp set. I'm also offering these as part of a scrapbooking workshop on May 4, but you have to sign up today if you would like to attend the workshop. These layouts were designed by a fellow CTMH consultant and provided to all consultants to use in our workshops. I just love my job and all of its perks!


Close To My Heart is also offering a Cut Above layout kit as part of the Postcard Perfect collection. This layout kit provides you with everything (except adhesive) to make three two-page layouts - and it also includes page protectors! It features pre-printed base pages, die-cuts, and stickers - no need for stamping or cutting! These layouts are really beautiful, so I thought I'd share mine with you today.
