August Cardmaking Workshops


Close To My Heart has four cardmaking kits in the Seasonal Expressions 2 Idea Book, and I'll be featuring one of them each month from May through August. The kit we'll be working with in August is the So Many Candles Cardmaking Kit!


This kit contains materials for creating 12 cards - six each of two designs. Easy-to-follow instructions guide you in creating two different card designs, but you also have the freedom to make your cards your way!



The cost of the workshop is $30, which covers the workshop kit, shipping and tax, the use of my supplies, and my instruction. Your papers will also be pre-cut and ready for you to assemble! All you need to bring is adhesive.

Here's what's included in the So Many Candles Cardmaking Kit.
  • 1 exclusive workshop stamp set (B-size)
  • 2 sheets of Craft On patterned paper
  • 3 sheets of cardstock (1 Pixie, 1 Black, 1 White Daisy)
  • 1 pack of Gold Glitter Gems
  • 12 white card bases & envelopes
  • printed instructions


If you prefer to just make the cards and not purchase a full kit, you may purchase individual pre-cut card kits in sets of two (one of each design). Each set of two cards will be $5, and I will need to know how many sets you would like when you RSVP.

I will also provide additional stamp sets if you would like to change up the sentiments on your cards.

Sign-Up Deadlines
These sign-up deadlines are for those who want to purchase the full kit. This allows time for ordering and shipping of the kits. If you just want to purchase sets of cards, you have until two days before each event to sign up; however, workshops may fill up before then.

You can RSVP on the Facebook event pages, or you can email, call, or text me to sign up. Space is limited, so sign up soon! If you are a new customer or prefer to use a credit card, please pay for the workshop or card sets online; otherwise, you can pay with cash or check the day of the workshop.
