Hiking in the Smoky Mountains - Layout 1

Here's my first layout from our vacation. I actually made this layout on vacation before I printed the pictures, but I knew I had some great shots that would fit perfectly.

I used the Stella paper, and I absolutely love the canvas stickers that coordinate perfectly with this paper.

Thanks for looking!

I'm back!

We're back from vacation, so I'll be posting some layouts and cards soon - hopefully tomorrow!

Don't forget that this week is your last chance to get the incredibly fabulous Dotty for You paper packet from Close to My Heart. Place an order of at least $35 from the current Idea Book, and you can add on the Dotty paper for only $5! Go to my website today to place your order!

Packing up...

Well, I'm packing up my scrapbooking stuff for a week away with family and friends. We're heading to Gatlinburg, where we're renting a cabin with another family. My good friend and I will do some scrapbooking while our men go backpacking.

Hopefully I'll have some great layouts to share with you when I get back next week!

Mojo Monday #241 - Dotty for You

It's still Monday, and my card's done! Yeah for me!

I can't seem to get enough of Close To My Heart's special Dotty for You paper packet, so that's what I used this week. I just love the colors and the way all the patterned papers work perfectly together. And it's a great deal until the end of May!

Here's my card and the sketch for this week.

Enjoy! And let me know if you're interested in getting your own packet of the Dotty for You paper. It's only available for a few more weeks!

Mojo Monday 240 - Father's Day with Lucky

I know I missed last week's Mojo Monday challenge, but we were all pretty sick at my house.

But I'm back this week and planning ahead! I decided to use this week's sketch to make a few Father's Day cards. I used some of Close To My Heart's Lucky paper (which is retired), and I think it makes for a nice, manly card.

Here's the sketch and my take on it:

Enjoy! And maybe it will get you motivated to work ahead and get some cards done that you know you'll need later in the year!
