Last Day for Hello, Life!

Today is the last day to take advantage of the three special stamp sets that Close To My Heart is offering during the month of September. These adorable Hello, Life stamp sets are so versatile, and I have really enjoyed creating with them this month. And I look forward to making even more projects with them in the future!

They were each designed for a different kind of paper crafting - card making, pocket scrapbooking, and traditional scrapbooking - but I think they can all be used on any kind of paper project.

I want to share three cards that I have made with the Hello, Life card making stamp set.

This first card uses the Sangria paper, a stamped flower from the Sangria WOTG scrapbooking kit, and Eggplant, Cocoa, Poppy, and Pomegranate inks. This card design comes from the Make It from Your Heart Volume 2 how-to book.

The second card uses our brand-new watercolor paints for the background, and then I simply stamped the image with the Memento Black ink pad, which is water resistant. Then I added a few sequins for a pop of colors (unfortunately this pack of sequins has been retired).

This last card features a design from the Wishes how-to book. I used some retired Huntington paper, and then I stamped the images in Olive and Barn Red inks. Such a simple card, but I love it!

I hope you enjoyed seeing a few ways to use the cardmaking Hello, Life stamp set. If you're interested in purchasing any of these exclusive stamp sets, be sure to get your order in today!

Information/Reminders/Upcoming Dates

I have several different bits of information that I wanted to pass along today!

Last Week of September
First of all, this week is the last week of September, so don't forget to take advantage of the great September specials from Close To My Heart. The September stamp of the month set - Paper Garden - is only available until the end of the month. It can be purchased at its full retail price of $17.95, or you can get it for only $5.00 with a qualifying purchase.

In addition to the stamp of the month, Close To My Heart is offering three "Hello, Life" stamp sets to celebrate National Stamping Month. Like the stamp of the month set, these three sets are only available through September 30. They are each $13.95, or if you purchase all three, you can get them for the discounted price of $34.95. They are really versatile stamp sets!

Placing an Order
If you are interested in purchasing any of these stamp sets - or anything else in the catalog - I will be placing an order on Wednesday, September 30. You are always welcome to place an order anytime you want, but combining orders can save on shipping. If you would like to combine your order with mine, please email, text, or call me with your order by noon on Wednesday.

Upcoming Events
I also wanted to make you aware of some upcoming events that will be happening in October. On Friday and Saturday, October 9th and 10th, I will be having craft nights at my house. These are free, open times when you can bring projects and just have some fun while crafting. Tuesday, October 13th is the deadline to sign up for my October scrapbooking workshop (more details coming soon), and the workshops will take place on Saturday, October 24th and/or Sunday, October 25th. I will be putting up pictures and information about that workshop soon.

Etsy Shop
I also wanted to make you aware of my brand-new Etsy shop that I just opened! I will mostly be selling greeting cards, but I may eventually get some other paper crafts up there too. I will be adding listings as I get them photographed and organized, but I hope you'll check it out!

If you have any questions about anything, please don't hesitate to ask. I'm here to help!

Life Is Worth...

Here's the mission statement of Close To My Heart:

"We show you how to celebrate relationships through discovering your creativity,
to preserve and share the moments that matter most."

Close To My Heart released this video a few months ago, and I want to share it with you. The video does a great job of capturing CTMH's mission and showing the many ways that Close To My Heart supports memory keeping.

Thanks for watching,

New September Workshops!

The brand-new 2015-2016 Annual Inspirations Idea Book is now live! And so is the 2015 Holiday Expressions Idea Book! They are full of wonderful ideas and great new products. Click on the link below to check them out, or contact me to get your very own copy.

Nevermore Workshop
With the arrival of the new idea books, I also have brand-new workshops for September. The main workshop that I'm offering this month features the new Halloween paper packet, Nevermore.

I really love this paper packet, and I was excited to make some layouts with it. Since there's no Workshops on the Go kit for Nevermore, I created my own kit for my workshop this month. The kit includes a full Nevermore paper packet, a full set of Nevermore Complements, four additional sheets of cardstock, a full roll of Black Shimmer Trim, and a full set of Grey Enamel Gems. The cost of the workshop - which is $28 - covers the kit, shipping, tax, and the use of my Cricut machine, stamp set, and stamp pads. Dates and times for the workshop are listed on my Upcoming Events page, and space is limited. Sign up by Monday, September 14th to ensure your kit arrives in time. You can call, text, or email me to reserve your spot!

Here are some pictures of the layouts we'll be creating:

Zoe Workshop
Along with the Nevermore workshop, I will also be offering the Zoe workshop again. To find out more information about the Zoe workshop, visit my Upcoming Events page, or click here to read my original post from August.

Card Workshop
In addition to the Nevermore and Zoe workshop, I will also be offering a card workshop this month. I will have more details coming soon, but the workshop will be Thursday, September 24th at either 1:30 or 6:30 - you can come to either time or both! All you'll need to bring is a paper trimmer and adhesive, and I will provide everything else! You can either make 6 cards for $5.00 or 10 cards for $8.00, and you'll get to choose what products you want to use from a selection of paper and embellishments.

Here are two examples of the cards you'll be creating using two different paper packets.

If you have any questions about any of these workshops, please don't hesitate to ask!
