Hello! It’s been awhile since I’ve done anything with my blog, and honestly, I wasn’t sure if I ever would again. I needed to focus on other things, and this blog was something I could let go of for awhile. I also took a step back from my Close To My Heart business, but I decided at the end of 2021 that I wasn’t quite ready to be done. I’ve been with the company for over 10 years, and I enjoy having this business as something I do for myself. The craziness of life ebbs and flows, and although our schedule hasn’t necessarily lightened, I feel like I have the time and desire to put a little more energy back into my hobby and business.
The pandemic has also affected how I run my business, especially with in-home workshops. It’s hard to not be able to get together and craft with people in person, and I miss my friends and customers that I met with regularly. Unfortunately, my in-home workshops won’t be starting back up yet, but I’d love to have people over again sometime later this year. I’m just taking it one day at a time.
But since it’s a new year and a new month, and I’m just getting back into things, I wanted to post a few updates about what’s happening with Close To My Heart! Today’s post won’t cover everything, so be sure to check back over the next few days to read all of my updates.
