Inspiration

It's rare that I make a card or scrapbooking layout without a little inspiration from somewhere! The cards I'm going to show you today were inspired by two different places - a Mojo Monday sketch and another CTMH consultant's card.

First of all, here's the Mojo Monday sketch from last week.

I made a card (actually two), but I didn't get around to linking them up to the site. So here's my take on this sketch:

I rotated the sketch and changed it up a bit, but I really liked how it turned out. This card uses the new Claire paper pack from the Spring/Summer 2013 idea book - one of my favorites! And I love the thought bubbles stamp set that comes with the Cricut Artiste collection.

Since I liked this simple and easy card so much, I had plans to make some more with different paper. But then I saw this card on Pamela O'Connor's blog:

It's so different from what I normally make with all the spray ink and glitz, but it inspired me!

So today I got out my CTMH spray pen (that I've had for at least 1 year and never used), filled it with some water, black reinker, and pearl paint, and I tried something new. I even added some of our silver shimmer trim! And here are the cards I came up with:

All 3 of these cards us the new For Always paper pack, which is so versatile and can be put with almost any color. Thanks for taking a look, and thank you, Mojo Monday and Pamela, for your inspiration!
